David Hekili Kenui Bell death: David Hekili Kenui Bell, a beloved Hawaiian actor who recently appeared in Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch, has passed away at age 29. His sister, Jalene Kanani Bell, confirmed his death in a heartfelt Facebook post. The cause of death has not been shared.
Bell played “Big Hawaiian Dude” in Lilo & Stitch, a character known for his humorous scene involving a spilled shave ice after witnessing an alien portal.

Outside of acting, he worked at Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport, where he served as assistant airport superintendent. Airport announcements featured his voice, reflecting his deep love for his home state.

Before he died, David lived in Waimea, attended Punahou and Kalani High Schools, and grew up in Kaimuki.
